Electroforms Featured at Photonics West
Servometer and BellowsTech will be exhibiting at Photonics West, at the Moscone Convention Center, in San Francisco, CA. Booth No. 5408 – North Hall. Servometer supports the photonics industry with custom electroforms and bellows. Electroforms are used in a variety of photonics applications in order to filter the light being processed through the lens. Through their shape and color, electroforms deflect the unwanted rays of light to increase the quality of the image. With advancements in technology in imaging, electroforms have also expanded to support new photonics applications with limitless custom configurations. Satellite imaging requires precise instruments that can survive extreme cold. Electroforms are constructed using lightweight, nickel plated material and able to survive the extreme cold of space applications. Currently, Servometer bellows and electroforms are critical components in a variety of NASA space shuttle and station equipment. Electroforms are currently used in medical imaging equipment to enhance imaging, protect against electrical interference, and enhance laser precision.
